London promoters Bad Vibrations have realised their long-held intention of adding a label arm to their operations, and, after much deliberation, Bad Vibrations Recordings are now putting out their first LP, a collection of live recordings from their shows held this year and last. As a taster of Live At Bad Vibes #1, here are South London’s skinniest, The Fat White Family, performing ‘Bomb Disneyland’ at the Shacklewell Arms last May.
The rest of the record includes tracks from Dead Skeletons, The KVB, Night Beats, Holy Wave, The Wytches and other acts recorded in a variety of venues across North and East London. All songs are spread over sides ‘B’ and ‘V’ (standing for Bad Vibrations, of course) and the album’s due on May 26 (pre-order here), coinciding with Bad Vibrations’ Outta Mind weekender, taking place at the Shacklewell Arms from May 30 to June 1.
