Following last week’s addition of Neneh Cherry & RocketNumberNine to this year’s newly-expanded two-day edition of Field Day – June 7 and 8 in Victoria Park, London – the festival have now announced further new names. On the first day, Jamie xx will be playing, alongside Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, the new project of David Portner from last year’s headliners Animal Collective, and Jamie Isaac, alongside Arthur Beatrice, Bake, Eyedress, FunkinEven, Only Real, ReviveHer and Tourist and DJ sets from Marc Riley, Jen Long and Phil Taggart, joining Jon Hopkins, Fat White Family, Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan and more. On Sunday 8, meanwhile, Drenge, Telegram, Childhood, Shy Nature and The Bohicas will be supporting Pixies and The Horrors.
