Field Day: Neneh Cherry Announced

Cherry playing festival's Saturday, June 7; new Field Day Radio below

Neneh Cherry has been added to the line up for this year’s Field Day festival, playing a set on the festival’s first day, June 7, in Victoria Park, London. The appearance will follow Cherry’s European tour in support of her new album, Blank Project, released yesterday and produced by Field Day veteran Four Tet – have a listen to ‘Out Of The Black’, featuring Robyn, from the album at the foot of the piece, and watch the site for a Baker’s Dozen with Cherry coming up soon.

In other Field Day news, tickets are now available from both their website and 13 record shops, bars and venues across London: The Abbey Tavern, The Chequers, Defectors Weld, John Salt, The Lock Tavern, The Owl and Pussycat, The Pavilion Café, Phonica, Pub on the Park, Rough Trade East, Shacklewell Arms, The Three Crowns and Tina We Salute You. Have a listen to a new episode of Field Day Radio, with FD founder Tom Baker interviewing Erol Alkan, who’ll be playing a back-to-back set with Daniel Avery at the festival, and head to our Field Day preview to read up on our features with appearing artists and bands.
