Following their eighth album Rave Tapes coming out this week, Mogwai are celebrating its release by announcing their own whisky, RockAct81w, a limited edition Scotch. Says the press release: "The single cask whisky […] is limited to 324 numbered bottles, which were distilled in September 2004 at Glenallachie Distillery, Speyside, and bottled this month by the Creative Whisky Company."
The band will be signing bottles at the Good Spirits Co in Glasgow ahead of their show at Glasgow Concert Hall next Tuesday, January 28, when the whisky officially goes on sale.
