Lostprophets Singer Enters Guilty Plea

Ian Watkins pleads guilty to child sex offences

Ian Watkins, the former lead singer of Lostprophets, has pleaded guilty to a series of child sex offence charges, report the BBC. Appearing at Cardiff Crown Court, the singer entered his guilty plea for 13 sex offences, including attempted rape of a baby, which was accepted by the prosecution.

Watkins was arrested last December, along with two women from Doncaster and Bedford, and had previously denied the allegations. Lostprophets announced in October of this year that they would be splitting up.
