German indie veterans The Notwist have announced that next year they’ll be releasing their first album since 2008. It’s entitled Close To The Glass and is slated for release on February 24 via City Slang. They’ve given us a taster of what to expect with the album’s title track, which you can stream above, and anyone pre-ordering the album on iTunes will get hold of it as a download straightaway. Pre-order at City Slang, meanwhile, and you’ll get the album on natty coloured vinyl.
Further details are scarce at the moment, but the band will be heading out on a lengthy European tour around the time of the album’s release – head to the band’s website for the full dates and tickets.
