Tomorrow, David Lynch will be releasing a new 12", ‘Bad The John Boy’, via Sacred Bones Records. It was recorded with Dean Hurley, the producer of the two studio albums Lynch has released so far, 2011’s Crazy Clown Time and The Big Dream from earlier this year, and comes backed with a remix from Venetian Snares.
Says Hurley of the track: "It wasn’t really recorded with the LP [The Big Dream] in mind, but it was done around the end of last year when the bulk of the album was being made. It was earmarked for something else entirely, but that thing didn’t happen in a way that required the song… so up until now, it was ‘a song with no home.’"
