Bowie To Premiere Next Day Extra Tracks

Video for James Murphy remix and three new tracks from Next Day expanded version to air this week

Following the announcement that David Bowie would be reissuing this year’s The Next Day album as a three-disc release – featuring the original album, a ten-track bonus CD with previously unheard tracks and a remix from James Murphy, formerly of LCD Soundsystem, and a DVD collecting the album’s videos – on November 4, this week we’ll get our first chance to hear some of those new tracks.

On Wednesday, October 30, ‘Atomica’, ‘Born In A UFO’ and ‘Like A Rocket Man’ will be broadcast by, respectively, Lauren Laverne on her BBC 6 Music show (10.50 am), Ken Bruce on Radio 2 (11.30 am) and Geoff Lloyd on Absolute Radio (6.45 pm).

This will be followed by More 4 airing the video for ‘Love Is Lost (Hello Steve Reich Mix By James Murphy For The DFA)’ at 9.30 pm during their Barclaycard Mercury Prize broadcast. The video will then be posted on Bowie’s website the following day.
