As we’ve previously reported, French music festival OohLaLA! is making its first appearance in London this month, taking over Shoreditch’s Village Underground on October 21-22 and 24.
The final line-up is headed up by Lescop, whose sheeny new wave pop made for one of our favourite albums of the year – have a watch of the filmic video for LP highlight ‘La Nuit Américaine’ at the foot of the piece – and Tomorrow’s World, the electro-pop guise of Air’s Jean-Benoit Dunckel and London musician Lou Hayter, who are joined by Petit Fantôme, ≠FAUVE, Moodoïd, Dominique A, Rover, Melissa Laveaux and Christine and The Queens – get primed on the line-up with this mixtape from The Line Of Best Fit, who’ll be DJing along with our good selves, below:
Tickets are available here, but we’ve got two pairs to give away to the final night, October 24, with Lescop, Tomorrow’s World and Christine and The Queens. Just send your answer to the following question to comps@thequietus.com, with ‘OOHLALA’ in the subject line.
