San Francisco trio Tartufi have just given us a new video for ‘Seldom’ from the These Factory Days album they released on Southern Records earlier this year.

The film’s as madcap as the band are virtuosic: the first half of the track is a slice of their characteristically tightly-interlocked, head-scratchingly taut rock, all propulsive basslines and frenetic drumming, which plays out as a man in a spandex full body suit gets abducted and taken to the realm of the horse people. This is all intercut with footage of kids, presumably members of the class of 2013 from the music school the band run, rocking out, before the track shifts into a wonderfully languid, melodic mode for its second half – have a watch below:

Head to the Southern website here to get hold of the album.
