Ace Manchester electronic duo Ghosting Season recently released their new single ‘Apophenia’, via FIELDS, and have now posted a video for the cut.
The track, a terse, kinetic piece of electronica with vocals from Her Name Is Calla singer TE Morris, which telescopes dense, shifting sonic landscapes down into its sub-four minute length, gets accompanied by a video that plays heavy on their description of the track, as "the experience of seeing connections in randomness, and patterns where they don’t exist" – have a watch above.
But how did they make the track? Well, we’ll stop short of giving you the sheet music, but we did ask Ghosting Season’s Gavin Miller and Thomas Ragsdale to give us a tour of their Manchester studio and introduce us to some of their musical gizmos. Take a look at the video below, and head here to get download the single, which also features b-side ‘Arrhythmia’ and a remix by Bristol duo Face+Heel.
