Vice Launch New Music Channel

Interactive fireworks to greet dance music site

Vice’s Noisey music channel, home to Quietus Ed John Doran’s British Masters series of interviews, is being joined by an American brother, THUMP. This will be Vice’s new channel for electronic music and culture and already has programmes and articles on the likes of Carl Cox, Jimmy Edgar, Ikonika, RP Boo, and the Dancing Misanthrope from Twitter. Next week in New York, they’re holding a special bash to launch the site. As well as DJ sets by Zedd, Duke Dumont and TOKiMONSTA, there’s an "interactive" firework display controlled by attendees.
