UK electronic music label Planet Mu have had a strong 2013 thus far, spearheaded by excellent records from Heterotic and Chicago footwork innovator RP Boo. Now the label have announced that they’re set to host a night at London’s Corsica Studios, this coming Saturday 25th May, featuring a varied roster of Planet Mu artists.
Chief among them are Heterotic, the duo of Mu label head Mike Paradinas and his wife, Lara Rix-Martin. The duo released a great album earlier this year in the shape of Love & Devotion, in collaboration with Gravenhurst’s Nick Talbot, who will be joining them for this performance. Paradinas will also be making a rare live appearance under his long-running µ-Ziq moniker, alongside Kuedo, Chicago’s Traxman, Ital, Konx-Om-Pax, Claude Speeed, Aurora Halal and Planet Mu DJs. For more information and tickets, click here.
In other Gravenhurst news, Nick Talbot will be playing a solo show in London the night before the Planet Mu showdown. It’s hosted by Sonic Cathedral and takes place at the Heath Street Baptist Church in Hampstead, and will find him joined by Mary Epworth and The Left Outsides.
