Fierce Panda records are celebrating their 20th birthday by making a new documentary about their lifetime, titled Endangered: The Story of Fierce Panda – have a watch of the trailer above.
The indie record label gave a step up to bands like Ash, Idlewild, Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, The Walkmen, The Raveonettes, Kenickie, Three Colours Red, Placebo, The Maccabees when they were starting out, with the documentary taking in interviews from a number of these bands. The label also promise a bountiful soundtrack to complement the film, distilling the best of their 250 releases into one album.
Fierce Panda are inviting you to help make this film possible by asking for pledges through buying a range of label merchandise including t-shirts, bags and screen prints or by simply pre-ordering the DVD/download. Furthermore, by pre-ordering the documentary, you will be offered an abundance of other bonus content with information about birthday parties and live shows, with five per cent of all proceeds going to the World Wildlife Fund.
