Gothenburg trio Junip are set to return with a second, self-titled album on April 22 via City Slang, and here’s our first taste of the record – have a listen of ‘Line Of Fire’ below:
The track takes a few cues from 60s baroque-pop, with loosely strummed nylon guitar twinned to flute-like synths, elevating to a close bathed in organ and Mellotron majesty.
The band, comprising José González, Elias Araya and Tobias Winterkorn, will be stopping by London’s Village Underground on May 13 on the album’s supporting tour.
