Diamond Version, the formidable team-up of Raster Noton bosses Alva Noto and Byetone, are set to release the second in a series of five 12"s they’re putting out in collaboration with Mute at the end of this month. It follows on from last month’s Technology At The Speed Of Life, and again nicks and recontextualises corporate slogans in a way that highlights their intrinsic ridiculousness. On ‘Science For A Better Life’ from the new 12" – whose video you can watch above – that shows itself as a series of advertising phrases downpitched and made horribly robotic. The Science For A Better Life 12" is released through Mute on 26th November.
