Xiu Xiu have announced a new album titled Girl with Basket of Fruit. From it, you can watch the video for lead single ‘Scisssssssors’ above.
The video is directed by the band’s Angela Seo and Anna Lian Tes, and is the first edition of a three-part series. Seo and the band’s Jamie Stewart both feature in the clip which, a press release explains, includes motifs from past Xiu Xiu music videos.
The new album, which follows on from last year’s FORGET, is produced by Seo alongside Deerhoof’s Greg Saunier. It’s set for release via Polyvinyl on February 8.
