Desperate Journalist have shared a new single titled ‘Cedars’, which you can hear above.
The track is lifted from their upcoming album In Search Of The Miraculous, which is set for release early next year. "’Cedars’ is about the pervasive anxiety of the romantic that nothing will ever be enough," says singer Jo Bevan. "Small everyday moments that feel overwhelmingly beautiful in your life, when overanalysed, can be twisted into concern that perhaps that is all there is – that you’re never going to touch the stars. Maybe the bittersweetness of the little movie you live in is glorious though, and maybe you have arrived."
In Search Of The Miraculous is due out on February 22, and the band will tour the UK in support of the album through March, rounding off the run of shows with a date at London’s The Garage on April 5. Find the full list of dates here. You can pre-order the album here.
