Reznor & Ross' Halloween Theme For Vinyl Release
Christian Eede , October 18th, 2018 16:31

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' remix of John Carpenter's Halloween theme is to be given a full vinyl release

Late last year, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross released their own interpretation of John Carpenter's classic Halloween theme. You can hear it above.

Now, plans have been set in motion for it to be given a full release on vinyl, backed with John Carpenter's own 2017 remix of the theme. Both new versions of Carpenter's original were made to support the release last year of the soundtrack composer's Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998, with Carpenter giving Reznor and Ross' version his blessing.

The vinyl is out on October 26 via Sacred Bones Records, and coincides with the release of the new Halloween movie which comes with a new soundtrack by Carpenter. You can pre-order the record here.
