Camden’s Lock Tavern To Close Down

Much-loved Camden venue The Lock Tavern will close later this month

Camden’s The Lock Tavern is to close its doors for the final time on August 28.

Found on Chalk Farm Road, the pub and gig venue opened in 2004. As Time Out reports, the building has been sold for a multi-million pound sum, though it’s not yet known what will replace the venue.

A final party will be held on August 27 with a one-off revival of a former night at the club, Blogger’s Delight. The Lock Tavern’s former booker and resident of the night Casper Clark will play alongside other residents Skull Juice and NikNikNik, plus other past regulars of the night Filthy Dukes and Matt Walsh. Special guests are also promised.
