Mount Eerie Announces Live Album

Le Guess Who's record label will release a live album from Mount Eerie

Mount Eerie’s set at last year’s edition of Le Guess Who? is set to be released on his own label, P.W. Elverum & Sun. Above, you can hear one track from the album, ‘Sonia Maria’.

The project of Phil Elverum, the live album, entitled (after), captures his full set at the festival. The set took in tracks from his last two albums, Now Only, and last year’s A Crow Looked At Me, and took place in a 13th century gothic church in Utrecht.

"The concerts in 2017 and 2018 have been unusual, unexplainable, and great," says Elverum. "The best one was at Le Guess Who?… Nobody was supposed to be recording these shows but fortunately someone didn’t get that message and this beautiful recording of that show has surfaced."

(after) will be released on September 21 and can be pre-ordered here.
