Booking agents and promoters Diplomats Of Sound, Kallida Festival, Rinse FM and Le Bureau Export have joined together to bring three diverse electronic music acts to the UK to play a series of live shows next month.
Nigerian-born, Berlin-based songwriter Wayne Snow will bring the sounds of his debut album Freedom TV, released last year, to the UK for the shows, which followed up on the promise of early Max Graef-produced tracks ‘Red Runner’ and ‘Rosie’.
Kodäma, founded in 2016 and led by singer Kiala Ogawa, will also form part of the tour playing music from their Black Cloud EP and more, while Cairo-based Rozzma completes the billing with his brand of Egyptian bass music combined with autotuned vocals. This will mark his first time playing in the UK and follows on from his debut release, Donya Fakka on Acid Arab’s label.
Wayne Snow and Kodäma will play at London’s Red Rooster on June 22 and you can find tickets for that Here. They will also both play at Brighton’s Hope & Ruin on June 24 – tickets are here. The three acts will play Kallida Festival at Wales’ Baskerville Hall on June 23 and you can find more information and tickets here.
