Soul legend to headline the Friday night of London festival

To celebrate expanding to two days and relocating to Brockwell Park south of the river, London’s Field Day has just announced Erykah Badu as one of its headliners.

The Barn stage which saw an incredible show from Aphex Twin last year is returning with sets from Four Tet (live), Nils Frahm, Floating Points and more. Other announced acts include Thundercat, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Loyle Carner, Jeff Mills and Tony Allen in collaboration, Daphni, Helena Hauff, James Holden and the Animal Spirits, Panda Bear, Earl Sweatshirt, Kurupt FM, Cornelius and Fever Ray, Sons Of Kemet, Hailu Mergia plus Princess Nokia, Madlib, Mount Kimbie (live), The Comet Is Coming and Oumou Sangaré.
