This March sees Rocket Recordings celebrate 20 years with a weekend of gigs at London’s The Garage, enlisting a number of acts from the label’s roster as well as some friends beyond it.
It has now been announced that Zimpel/Ziołek will play as part of the celebrations. Their self-titled album, released on Instant Classic, came in at number two on our round-up of the best albums of last year and this appearance will mark their first ever UK live show.
Rocket Recordings have also however announced that Hills have had to cancel their appearance, citing "extreme personal reasons".
The weekender runs from March 9-11, and the day splits have now also been announced. Josefin Öhrn + The Liberation, Julie’s Haircut, Flowers must Die, Dwellings, AHRKH, Coldnose and Teeth of the Sea DJs will play on March 9. The following day will see sets from Goat, Hey Colossus, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Temple Ov BBV, Gum Takes Tooth, Housewives, Gnoomes, Mamuthones, VED, Mike Bourne and Nothing Is DJs. Finally, on March 11, Gnod, Teeth of the Sea, Anthroprophh, Zimpel/Ziołek, Kuro, Bonnacons of Doom, H.U.M, Negra Branca and Ayn Sof are all lined up to play live.
