The first wave of acts has been announced for 2018’s Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, Tennessee with the likes of Diamanda Galás, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Gas all confirmed to play.
Also featured in the first lineup announcement is a special performance of The Ecstastic Music of Alice Coltrane, as well as Roscoe Mitchell, Nels Cline, Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Algiers, Four Tet, Jenny Hval, Jaga Jazzist, Steve Gunn, Laurel Halo, Kelly Lee Owens, SUUNS, Lightning Bolt and Susanna, amongst plenty others.
Big Ears takes place from March 22-25 next year and will see over 100 performances by over 60 artists across various venues around Knoxville. You can find out more information and snap up tickets here.
