I ripped this from my mate onto a tape. I was going to East Birmingham College a few days a week and I remember listening to it over and over again on the bus ride through Brum. It was funny because the tape recording had somehow slowed a part of the record down. So, until I got the CD I had part of the record in my head as really slowed down. This whole period of Chain Reaction stuff has been very influential on a lot of artists – that’s clear to hear. It’s a music that comes fully formed, y’know? It didn’t need to develop, just flopped out into the world kinda done already.
