Last week saw the announcement of a new album from Godspeed You! Black Emperor, entitled Luciferian Towers The band also shared the record’s opening track ‘Undoing a Luciferian Towers’, and now they’ve unveiled a second track from that album, which you can stream exclusively above.
‘Anthem For No State, Pt. III’ closes the record, which sits at four tracks in total. The album itself was recorded during the winter of 2016 going into 2017 at Montreal’s Hotel2Tango, with Greg Norman once again taking up engineering and co-production duties as he did on the band’s previous album Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress, released in 2015.
Luciferian Towers is Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s third album release since their 2011 reunion, and was announced accompanied by a band statement which you can read here. The album is out on September 22 via Constellation. The band will be touring the album across Europe through October and November and you can find the list of dates for those shows here.
