Amon Duul II - Yeti
Much of my list is from a similar era, around the time that I was starting to play in bands around London, but I wanted to include some older stuff that I love too and Amon Duul II's Yeti is one of them. I think (Part Chimp bassist) Joe McLaughlin introduced me to the record, I was pretty clueless to it before but I am pretty sure that the other guys were all listening to it before me. It's a really great record and is just full of amazing riffs, rhythms and vocals. The drums on something like 'Eye Shaking King' are just pure Butthole Surfers so it makes total sense to me.
