At The Drive-In have announced details of their new album, in • ter a • li • a, their first album release since 2000’s Relationship Of Command. From it, above, you can check out the second taste of the album in the form of the urgent, riff-laden ‘Incurably Innocent’.
The track is described by vocalist Cedric Bixler-Zavala as "a song about sexual abuse and being able to finally speak out". The album itself was produced by the band’s Omar Rodriguez-Lopez alongside Rich Costey at Hollywood’s Sound Factory studio. The album takes its title from the Latin term for "among other things".
At The Drive-In’s current only UK shows on the horizon are at Leeds and Reading Festivals at the end of August, with a series of US shows planned ahead of that in the wake of the album’s release on May 5. ‘Incurably Innocent’ follows on from ‘Governed By Contagions’, the first track unveiled from the album late last year.
