Composer will return to London in May for first show since release of latest album

William Basinski has announced he will return to play in London this May.

The avant-garde composer will be playing at the Hackney Round Chapel, in what will be his first UK show since he debuted his latest release, A Shadow In Time, earlier this month.

The composer’s 23rd ambient record, it has drawn comparisons to his most celebrated work, The Disintegration Loops and features a “plaintive, solitary eulogy” to David Bowie on the second track, ‘For David Robert Jones’.
