Second Shutters Down! night takes place in subterranean Somerset House space

LoneLady will host the second edition of her Shutters Down! experimental club night on February 25 as part of her residency in the Rifle Range at Somerset House.

The event takes place in The Deadhouse, a rarely used subterranean space beneath the courtyard at Somerset House, which stores a number of seventeenth century gravestones from a chapel formerly located on the site.

The room will be transformed into an installation titled Transmissions From A Wilderness State Of Mind, with music inspired by post-industrial landscapes and urban wilderness.

tQ's own John Doran will also provide a DJ set, while spoken word Salford avant-noise project Vanishing play live.

Writing in a stream of consciousness about the event on her website, LoneLady says of the event: "bountiful collage of atmospheres and scrap / seance territory / understands / transformation of rubble / a place of grazed knees and inventions / is a land lost / a dream I have lived in / a luminous kingdom / an outpost at the edges /"

The full entry can be read on Lonelady's website, while a gallery of images for the event can be viewed below. Tickets are on sale now
