A US band, somewhat aptly called Slightly Stoopid, have produced the world's first smokable record, putting hashish to use in their endeavour.

"It’s all about putting two old-school vintage mediums together,” the band’s manager, Jon Phillips, told Billboard. “Vinyl is an old-school medium, and that’s how we feel about hashish, too."

The record is indeed completely smokable, but unsurprisingly it will not be put on sale. The band, which describes itself as "a fusion of folk, rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk" (whatever that might sound like), says the final record will either be stored away or auctioned off for charity.

Two copies of the record have been made so far, with the first one being described as passable - unfortunately it was smoked in the end. It was produced from $6,000 worth of bubble hash, while each record costs $1,000 to press and master. The record's second pressing was unsatisfactory, and now work is underway on the third. The band's manager has described the record as "an art piece".
