LISTEN: One Of David Bowie’s Last Recordings

First of three of David Bowie's final recordings premiered on radio this morning

Last month, it was confirmed that three of David Bowie’s final recordings would be released via the soundtrack to the Broadway musical Lazarus, and now one of those tracks has surfaced online.

The track, entitled ‘When I Met You’, premiered this morning on BBC 6 Music, and you can listen to it at the 51-minute mark here. The track was recorded with the same cast of musicians that assisted on Bowie’s final album, Blackstar, which was released earlier this year, shortly before his passing.

The Lazarus soundtrack, containing all three of Bowie’s last recordings, is out this Friday (October 21). It is co-produced by Bowie and longtime collaborator Tony Visconti. Another new track, entitled ‘No Plan’, will air on BBC Radio 2 this afternoon.
