Sleaford Mods Frontman Suspended From Labour

'Online abuse' is cited as reason for suspension

Sleaford Mods’ Jason Williamson has said that his membership to the Labour Party has been suspended for what he calls "online abuse".

In a series of tweets, Williamson described the party as weak and expressed his distrust of the party after being suspended from voting in their upcoming leadership election. Sleaford Mods have previously been vocal in their support of Jeremy Corbyn.

As FACT reports, Williamson calls the party "absolute scum", adding that they "happily take my fucking money for a fucking year". Prompted on why he was suspended, Williamson simply says: "online abuse". You can see the initial tweets here and here.
