New Aphex Twin EP Announced

Mysterious print advertisement suggests Richard D James is set to release another new EP soon

UPDATE: Details of Aphex Twin’s Cheetah EP have now been announced by Warp Records. It will be released on July 8 with the cassette and vinyl release including six tracks while there will be a further download-only track made available on the digital release. The cassette is limited to 2000 copies.

It would appear that more new Aphex Twin material is imminent as a print advertisement has begun making the rounds teasing a new EP from the producer.

The advertisement seems to suggests that the EP will be entitled Cheetah with a number of record stores, including Norman Records in the UK, posting photos of the advertisement via Twitter. The flyer features both the Aphex Twin and Warp Records logos and contains the following text: "To assure you that your Cheetah EP will give you many years of enjoyment, please be sure to read the owner’s manual carefully before attempting to operate the Cheetah EP.” Stay tuned for further updates from Warp Records.
