First Names For Unsound 2016

Severed Heads, Moritz von Oswald, Babyfather, Raime and more to play Poland festival

Unsound returns to Kraków again in October for its 2016 edition and has now begun setting out an impressive bill of names as ever.

Among those announced to play so far are Severed Heads, Forest Swords (who will debut new material), Raime, Veronica Vasicka, Giegling's Edward and Konstantin, Sote, Kaitlyn Aurelia-Smith, Kara-Lis Coverdale, Roly Porter, Rabih Beaini and Senyawa.

There will also be a number of specially commissioned sets among the week's activities including Optimo's JD Twitch playing the music of Muslimgauze, Moritz von Oswald collaborating with Kyrgyz band Ordo Sakhna and tQ favourite Stara Rzeka teaming up with Tajikistan band Samo, who will also play a solo show.

Completing the first announcement are Matmos (presenting a special performance of Robert Ashley's Perfect Lives alongside Kraków's Sinfonietta Cracovia), Babyfather, Gaika, Felicita, MFO, Foodman, Traxman playing back-to-back with DJ Fulltono, Paide, Nan Kolè and DJ Lag (representing Durban's Gqom scene), Anna Zaradny, Ancient Methods and Cindytalk, Orphx, Lotto, Horse Lords and Johannes Klabbers.
