Radiohead's video for recent single 'Burn The Witch' gathered a lot of attention when it appeared online a couple of weeks ago. However, the family of Trumpton creator Gordon Murray wasn't so happy with the references to the classic children's TV series that Murray created.

William Mollett, his son-in-law, has suggested that the video is in breach of copyright as Radiohead did not seek copyright permission from Murray. Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "Radiohead should have sought our consent as we consider this a tarnishing of the brand. It is not something we would have authorised. We consider that there is a breach of copyright and we are deciding what to do next.”

Mollett also says that Murray has no intentions to see the video. Trumpton was a 1960s stop-motion animation series for children which aired on the BBC. Radiohead and the video's director, Chris Hopewell, both declined to comment on the matter to the Daily Mail.
