Having released their first album in over a decade late last year, New Order have now been given a reworking by fellow Mute signees Liars who take on ‘Singularity’- you can check it out above.
Liars themselves describe the remix as like “imagining New Order as teenagers in 2016" giving the original a rather slinky, minimalist update. The remix will be released as part of a new package also featuring remixes by Erol Alkan, Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and more on March 25. Liars released their last album, Mess, in 2014 and this new remix follows on from reworks of material by Algiers, The Twilight Sad and more.
