Bartók - String Quartet No. 5 and No. 6 or Music For Strings, Percussion And Celesta
The opposite of this string quartet by Debussy is Bartók - wild and aggressive and full of rhythms from Hungary. Bartok invented a new sound for the string quartet. He had a new instrument, an invention, and that's what always fascinated me. These string quartets of Bartók's are so amazing, and the Music For Strings, Percussion And Celesta is even more beautiful than his Concerto For Orchestra.
