Remedy (Cheyenne Picardo)

I came across this underground film very recently. Cheyenne Picardo didn't count on super expensive means to shoot it, but she had something better: her own real life experience as a professional switch in NY's BDSM scene. The film is mainly composed of the different sessions that Remedy has with a range of peculiar customers. It gives a very realistic approach to a world that is mostly unknown and goes way beyond handcuffs or spanking or black leather. Nothing to do with that. In fact the film's little explicit content (meaning no genitals, no penetration) has to do with the kind of practices that Remedy actually has with her clients, which raises a lot of questions of what sex is or is not. The film has moments of witty comedy along with very tense situations, and a simple yet brilliant ending. Picardo finally quit the job, but she portrays it with affection.
