Orange Is The New Black (Jenji Kohan, 2013 - )

Well... It was about time someone showed us that sex between women is not all kissing and caressing! The women in OITNB have dirty, unromantic sex all the time, and it's also relevant because it is not portrayed as an act for the male viewer's arousal only. Jenji Kohan is a pioneer, she has stated several times that she would like to see as much sex on TV as there is in real life, or at least have the chance to develop it, since that's one of her most cherished subjects. I think she will keep pushing the bar more and more every season. I also deeply appreciate the ethnic and social diversity of her characters, she is making the sexuality of collectives that are absent from mainstream media most of the time visible.
