Field Day celebrates 10th festival taking place next year with a video looking back at its very first edition in 2007 featuring Foals, Battles and Four Tet among others

This year marked eight years since the very first edition of Field Day which has taken place at Tower Hamlets’ Victoria Park every year since August 11, 2007. To mark 10 years since the festival’s very first year, the team at Field Day have put together a series of videos celebrating each year of its history. Above, you can check out the first of those videos with 2007.

Featured in the video are interviews and live clips from a selection of acts that played that year. That list in full: Battles, Four Tet, Foals, Bat For Lashes, Caribou, Late Of The Pier, Justice, Absentee, Electrelane, Chromeo and Vetiver. Other acts that featured that year include Laura Marling, Liars, Gruff Rhys, The Field, Wild Beasts, Simian Mobile Disco, King Creosote, The Pictish Trail and Richie Hawtin. You can check out the poster for 2007’s line-up below.

Watch out for more videos from the Field Day team over the coming days and weeks as they explore their 10-year history. Next year’s Field Day takes place from June 11-12 at Victoria Park as ever. Super early bird tickets are already on sale and can be purchased here.
