London duo unveil video for A-side of upcoming single, due out next month and preceded by a launch gig at London's Apiary Studios

A couple of weeks ago, we heard 'Locust' off the forthcoming new single by Quietus favourites Jupiter-C. Now, the London electronic duo have revealed 'The Process', the track that will be pairing it on the release, out digitally and on cassette through Ramber Records on April 13. The track's a banger, and by banger, we're talking here about the definition that nods to claustrophobic, close-focus vocals penned in by mechanised synthetic flute and strident drum-machine snare, matched to a video by Sapphire Goss that buries footage of Ashiya Eastwood and David Kane performing beneath a gauze of low-grade VHS grain. (Additionally, hear the track on this week's edition of the Quietus Hour, here.)

The Saturday, April 11, before the single comes out, Jupiter-C will be launching it with a gig at Apiary Studios in London, with MXLX (Fairhorns and Beak>'s Matt Loveridge) and the Quietus' own Hamburger Ladies in support. Get tickets for that here and play 'The Locust' below.
