Cathy Lucas unveils track "chronicling the absurd adventures of a telepathic frog" under her Orlando guise; listen below

Cathy Lucas, one half of Earth Moon Earth and one fifth of Fanfarlo, has unveiled a brand new track from her Orlando guise, entitled ’Theme For A Telepathic Amphibian’, which you can listen to above.

The track is taken from a forthcoming cassette release split between Orlando and Tomaga, entitled Play Time: Music For Video Games. Said to be “inspired by fictional worlds, imagined quests, and surreal dreams”, the pair each offer their own take on soundtracking video games not yet made, with Lucas’ track intended to accompany “the absurd adventures of a telepathic frog”.

There will be a free launch party for the release at Stoke Newington’s Total Refreshment Centre on March 26, which will feature a live performance from Orlando, as well as support from Syd Kemp and Pollyanna Valentine. Tomaga and Man From Uranus will be on DJ duties for the night. Find all the details you need for that here.
