Today, Crucial Blast have released Collected Atrocities 2005-2008, a neat collection of the early and extremely rare work of Dutch peerers-into-the-void Gnaw Their Tongues, out on double-CD and packaged in some artwork that can only really be described as bracing (that’d be it above). It’s set to be the first of a few records the avant-black group will be putting out through the label this year, and to mark its emergence (reluctant, howling) into the light, we’ve kindly been given a play of ‘A Fiery Deluge’, originally released on For All Slaves… A Song Of False Hope, one of the many now out-of-print EPs that the collection culls from. Listen to it in its disarmingly beautiful, ferociously fear-riven glory above, and get hold of the album from Crucial Blast’s Bandcamp.
