Misfits - Evilive
You know, my head would have exploded if I'd been at this show. When you hear Glenn say stuff like, "You want it turned up or what?", or any of those words he uses in between songs, you know one thing: this is punk rock. Also, living in the desert and because punk was going on in Jersey or in Los Angeles, I never really had a chance to see it and this was as close as I will ever get to seeing the Misfits play live with Glenn. It's just a heavy, badass live record. I don't claim to be an expert on punk rock but I know what makes me feel. I was never into Bad Religion, The Exploited or G.B.H. - the music had to make me feel something and these bands just didn't. But when you talk about attitude and temperament, the Misfits to me were the epitome of punk rock. It's just haulin' ass.
