Veteran blues-rock man and multi-instrumentalist Duke Garwood has today announced the release of his new album Heavy Love, which is out on February 9 2015 on Heavenly Recordings.
With an illustrious career as a collaborator with artists as varied as The Orb, Mark Lanegan and Alexander Tucker, as well as an acclaimed body of work as a solo artist, Heavy Love will be Garwood’s first full solo effort since 2011’s Dreamboatsafari. The album will also feature contributions from Savages vocalist Jehnny Beth, who guests on the haunting, desert-inflected title track – take a look at its video, directed by famed rock photographer Steve Gullick, below.
