Band announce final act with tour, taking in eight-date UK run

Following the sad announcement that The Jim Jones Revue would be calling time on proceedings this autumn, the band have made plans to embark on one last run of shows. The 'Last Hurrah' dates take in shows in Europe in September, heading back to UK shores for the tail end of that month and October, culminating in one last London blow-out at The Forum, "a late licence rock & roll extravaganza with a stellar cast of support acts, guests and DJs to be announced very soon". Say the band: "To celebrate seven raucous years of blowing apart venues around the world and reinventing the rock & roll wheel with three skull-cracking studio albums, The JJR will embark on a final tour... Kick out the jams one last time with The Jim Jones Revue on the Last Hurrah tour as they bow out with all guns blazing." Not only that, but the Quietus' own Julian Marszalek will be in the van with the band for the final three dates, with a major live feature following.
