Tonight in London’s Union Chapel and tomorrow in Colston Hall, Bristol, Mick Harvey will be performing his Songs Of Serge Gainsbourg shows. They follow the recent reissue of his two excellent Gainsbourg albums, 1995’s Intoxicated Man and Pink Elephants in 1997, as a double CD collection, which tQ’s Jeremy Allen called "the perfect preface to the stunning oeuvre of the sloshed genius" – have a listen to ‘Bonnie And Clyde’, featuring fellow Bad Seeds associates Anita Lane and Warren Ellis and French composer Bertrand Burgalat, above, and read our Baker’s Dozen with Harvey here.
Tickets for the gigs are available through the Mute website, while we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to each concert, along with a signed copy of the re-release for each winner. To be in with a chance of winning, just send your answer to the following question to comps@thequietus.com, with ‘HARVEY’ in the subject line, and tell us which concert you’d like to attend.
