First spin of track from debut LP Ostro

On May 25, Rocket Recordings will continue their unassailable march forward into the psych horizon by bringing you the debut album by Lay Llamas, Ostro. Taking its name from the wind that blows from Africa across the Mediterranean Sea, it's the result of the duo of Gioele Valenti and Nicola Giunta recording out in the sticks in their native Sicily, channelling the "ancient presence" of the 6th century BC Temple Of Hera and generally throwing all they had on tape, forging, in their own words "Pagan Post-Punk!" We've got a first spin of album cut 'We Are You', an excellent, sprawling seven-minute cut framed in a nexus of space age synths, hung around a mesmerically repetitious bass line and pocked by itchy stabs of guitar and the duo's doped, layered vocals; have a listen below and head to Rocket to get hold of the album on release.
